Performance First
Our primary goal is simple. To ensure that every single student gets the opportunity, as soon and as regularly as possible to perform with other musicians. Because that’s what making music is all about! Of course we encourage everyone to aim for and pass exams because exams are the best way of monitoring progress. But true musicianship stems from the practice and experience of playing with others; listening, responding and adapting your sound, style and technique as you play.
The Academy has been designed with performance in mind (see facilities) and every single one of our teaching faculty has been selected because of their performing as well as teaching experience. As a result we believe that Bentley Music Academy is truly unique in helping turn all our students into fully rounded, complete musicians.
